“For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.” – 1 Timothy 6:10

“Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.” – 1 Timothy 6:17

A Better Way: Giving and Serving

Instead of resorting to rituals or dark practices, we have a different approach to wealth. It’s all about giving and serving. You see, in the kingdom of believers, generosity is like a superpower. When we give our money, time, or talents to help others, it’s like planting seeds of blessing. And just like seeds grow into trees, our acts of generosity can multiply and bring abundance into our lives.

“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” – 2 Corinthians 9:7

The Power of Sacrifice

Think about it this way: When we give, we’re making a sacrifice. We’re saying, “I trust you, God, to take care of me and provide for my needs.” It’s a powerful act of faith that opens the door to blessings beyond measure. As believers, let’s remember that money is a tool, not a master. It’s meant to be used wisely and for the greater good. So, let’s be generous with what we have, knowing that every act of kindness has the power to change lives and bring glory to God.

“In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.'” – Acts 20:35
